Course Information
Description
This intensive course is designed to provide delegates with a knowledge of the fundamentals of Quark Xpress and all the key skills necessary to achieve professional results. Delegates will learn how to combine text, pictures and other graphic elements within different page formats for both one-off or regular production.
 
Basic knowledge
A basic understanding of computer graphics and some understanding of word-processing is desirable but not essential.
 
Target audience
Intending, new or less-experienced users of Quark Xpress who wish to gain a good understanding of the software in a short space of time. Plus others who wish to learn about the scope of the software.

Moving around the document. Creating and deleting pages.. Creating and editing master pages. Using a combination of master pages. Creating/deleting master pages. Automatic page numbering. Creating headers and footers
Working with Colour
Creating, editing and appending colours. Printing colour separations. Creating colour blends. Creating custom colours.
